Starting in George · open across South Africa

When one of us falls, all of us reach out a hand.

Sister Aid is the Sisterhood's own way to carry each other through hard seasons — a fire, a funeral, a lost job, an empty cupboard. Every Sister is verified and every story personally checked. And your gift goes straight to her.

✓ Verified women ✓ No middle-man ✓ Money or real items
Why Sister Aid is different

Born in George, open to Sisters across South Africa.

How giving works

Three steps. One lighter heart.

🔍
Step one

Choose a Sister

Read real stories from verified women — filter by town, province or what's needed, like school shoes or food parcels.

💸
Step two

Give directly

Send money straight to her own account by EFT, PayShap or card — or pledge a real item and arrange the handover.

🌸
Step three

She says thank you

She confirms your gift arrived, you get a thank-you, and you can follow her updates as life starts to bloom again.

Small gifts, big difference

What could your gift become?

Slide to see what a gift could help with. Every family's need is different — but no amount is too small when Sisters give together.

Give with confidence

Every Sister is real. Here's how we know.

🪪

ID checked

Her South African ID number is validated and her ID document checked by our team.

🤳

Live selfie

She holds her ID and a handwritten code — proof she's a real woman, right now.

📞

Personally vetted

A real person on our team reads her story and can call her before anything goes live.

🏦

Her own account

The bank account must be in her name — and any change is checked again before you see it.

👭

Sisters vouch

Women who know her can vouch for her — community trust, the way it's always worked.

🚩

Report button

Something feels off? Every page has a private "report a concern" link straight to our team.

What would make you feel best after helping?

For Sisters going through it

You don't have to carry it alone

If you're part of the You're Worth It Sisterhood and life has knocked you down, you can ask for help — with dignity. Applying is free, private and gentle, and your progress saves as you go.

  • Money goes straight into your own account
  • Ask for money, real items, or both
  • Show your first name only, or stay "A Sister in your town"
  • Our team walks with you — usually 2–3 working days to review

✏️ What you'll need — tick as you go

A Sister doesn't ask what you did to end up there. She just asks, "What do you need?"

Good questions

Before you give

Where does my money go?

Straight into the Sister's own bank account (or via her PayShap or card link). You're Worth It never holds, handles or takes a cut of your gift. You get a reference so she can recognise your payment and thank you.

How do I know she's real?

Every Sister's ID is checked, she takes a live selfie with her ID and a handwritten code, confirms her email, and our team personally reads her story — often with a phone call — before anything goes live. Her bank account must also be in her own name.

Can I give something other than money?

Yes! Many Sisters list real needs — food parcels, blankets, school shoes, baby essentials. Pledge an item and we'll put you in touch to arrange the handover.

Can I give anonymously?

Of course. Tick "give anonymously" and your name won't be shown on her page.

Who can ask for help?

Women who are part of the You're Worth It Sisterhood Women Network (joining is free), 18 or older, living in South Africa. We started in George and welcome Sisters from every province.

What if something doesn't feel right?

Every campaign page has a private "report a concern" button that goes only to our team. We look into every report and can pause a campaign immediately.
