Chairperson: A woman who has 37 tabs open and has forgotten why 11 of them are open.
Agenda Item 1: How did we get here?
Nobody knows.
Agenda Item 2: Money
The Finance Department would like to remind everyone that revenue is important.
The Founder would like to remind Finance that she already knows this.
Finance has been asked to leave the room.

Agenda Item 3: The Business Plan
The original plan was:
- Have an idea.
- Start business.
- Make money.
- Become successful.
- Wear nice trousers.
The actual plan became:
- Have an idea.
- Google everything.
- Doubt everything.
- Buy something for the business.
- Wonder whether that purchase was tax deductible.
- Make coffee.
- Have another idea.
- Forget the original idea.
- Panic.
- Somehow keep going.
Agenda Item 4: Confidence
Confidence arrived late.
Apparently she was parked outside having a small emotional crisis.
She has now entered the building.

Agenda Item 5: Social Media
“We should post consistently.”
“Yes.”
“What should we post?”
Silence.
“Maybe a reel?”
More silence.
“Do we know how to make a reel?”
Meeting adjourned.

Agenda Item 6: The Competition
Someone said:
“Look at what everyone else is doing.”
The entire room immediately became hostile.

Because, ladies…
WE ARE NOT DOING THAT TODAY.
Today we are minding our own business.
Literally.
Agenda Item 7: Friday
The Founder has announced that absolutely no major life decisions will be made after 3 PM.
Unless it’s:
- ordering food,
- cancelling plans,
- buying something we don’t need,
- or announcing that Monday will be the day we finally get our lives together.
Agenda Item 8: The Truth
Nobody in this meeting has everything figured out.
Not the woman with the beautiful website.
Not the woman with 50,000 followers.
Not the woman whose business looks like it exploded overnight.
Not even the woman who confidently says:
“I always knew this would work.”
Some of us are building businesses while raising families.
Some are starting again.
Some are learning technology they absolutely did not ask to learn.
Some are trying to make money while simultaneously wondering why Canva has suddenly decided to behave like a personal enemy.
Some are terrified.
Some are exhausted.
Some are wildly excited.
Some are all of these things before breakfast.
And some of us are simply sitting here thinking:
“I have no idea what I’m doing, but I’ve come this far, so apparently we’re doing it.”
And you know what?
THAT COUNTS.
So, to every woman building something today:
Take the pressure off for a minute.
Drink your coffee.
Answer the important email.
Ignore the stupid one.
Do the next thing.
You don’t have to have the whole staircase figured out.
You just need to stop staring at it like it’s personally offended you. 😂
And if your business is currently being held together by caffeine, Google searches, stubbornness and the occasional “OH MY GOD WHAT AM I DOING?”…
